Cultures of Indigo
Explore indigo as both a historic dye and a living process. Workshops may include preparation of reduction vats, including fruit-based vats, fabric preparation, dipping, oxidation and the development of color through repeated applications.
Participants experience the transformation of indigo from the vat to the familiar blue that emerges through exposure to air.
