I’m teaching a variety of shibori techniques, making organic vats and because this outdoor workshop takes place at Omaha’s Levi Carter Lake I’m using lake water to heighten the dyeing experience.

Treat yourself to an evening of fun in the company of old and new friends, while learning a beautiful ancient art.
Join us for some dipping and dyeing along with good music, tasty drinks and nibbles.
I will give the group a general briefing on indigo, the making of the vat and the dyeing process. Then set everyone loose with two yards of beautiful cotton to work with.
It’s a great pleasure bringing together people to experience the hand-process of dyeing with the mother of natural dyes, indigo.
