About Calandra Cooper
Calandra Cooper, LPN, NE-CPhT, is the founder of Nebraska Health Care Solutions. Her background includes nursing, pharmacy, health information management, health care administration, business, accounting and legal studies.
As a licensed practical nurse, Calandra has worked in long-term care, home health, agency nursing and direct patient care. She is also a Wound Treatment Associate with additional education in wound assessment, prevention, treatment principles and evidence-based wound care.
She is also a certified pharmacy technician with hospital and inpatient pharmacy experience, including sterile medication preparation and compounding.
Calandra holds associate degrees in Health Information Management Systems – Medical Office Management, Legal Studies, Accounting and Business Management. This broad education supports both the clinical and administrative work of Nebraska HCS, including documentation, health care operations, education, business management and professional services. She is also registered in Nebraska as an assisted living administrator and continues to pursue additional education in nursing and health care.
