My work explores material, process and transformation through mixed media, textile, fiber, paper and naturally derived color.
I am interested in what happens when materials are altered by time, environment and repeated handling. Natural dyes, earth, plant matter, oxidation, weaving, stitching and other processes become part of both the surface and the history of each work.
