Nebraska Healthcare Solutions was founded by Calandra Cooper, LPN, a Nebraska licensed practical nurse with experience in nursing, direct patient care, pharmacy and other health care support settings.

Her experience has reinforced a simple observation: health care needs do not always fit neatly into one category.

A person may have a physician and a treatment plan but still need help understanding what happens next. A family caregiver may need practical instruction. An older adult may need assistance organizing services or identifying resources. A family may simply need a knowledgeable person to help determine where to begin.

Nebraska Healthcare Solutions was created to help address those gaps.

Calandra's approach combines nursing knowledge with practical problem-solving and an understanding that effective care frequently extends beyond a medical appointment or treatment plan.

Her professional interests include community-based nursing, aging in place, caregiver education, wound care, health education and helping individuals and families navigate changing care needs.
