Bringing Creative Experiences to the Community

The Center for Creative Arts Omaha partners with schools, museums, libraries, businesses, nonprofit organizations and community groups to develop engaging artistic experiences for audiences of all ages.

Whether you are seeking an exhibition, artist lecture, demonstration or hands-on workshop, each program is thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity, curiosity and meaningful participation.

Our programs may be presented at the Center or brought directly to your organization.

Artist Talks

Artists often reveal far more than what is visible in the finished artwork.

Artist Talks provide audiences with an opportunity to learn about inspiration, materials, creative decision-making, experimentation and the evolution of an artist's work.

Presentations may accompany exhibitions or be scheduled as stand-alone events.

Demonstrations

Watching an artist work provides a unique perspective on artistic practice.

Live demonstrations may explore traditional techniques, mixed media, surface design, natural materials, textile processes and other creative methods while encouraging discussion with participants.

Demonstrations are designed to inspire curiosity rather than simply teach a finished project.

Educational Workshops

Hands-on workshops may be customized for a variety of audiences and experience levels. Each workshop is tailored to the goals of the hosting organization.
