Naturally Dyed
Hands-On Workshops in Natural Color and Material Exploration
Natural color can come from unexpected places — plants, soil, bark, spices, minerals, insects and even oxidation.
Naturally Dyed is a series of small-group workshops exploring traditional and experimental approaches to creating color on cloth, fiber and paper. Workshops focus on process, material discovery and hands-on experimentation rather than simply reproducing a finished project.
Participants learn how natural materials interact with different surfaces and how variables such as preparation, water, time, temperature and repeated dyeing can change the final result.
No previous dyeing experience is required.
