Dine weaving

I pulled both of these little videos from the Navajo Cultural Program website.

They depict Dine weaving.

The top video has no sound. The bottom video has sound.

Please be mindful that the bottom video, in my opinion, contains language that’s not really appropriate today (not that it ever was) even though I don’t believe it was deliberate-for lack of better explanation.

The film is from 1940.

BUT, it does show and give a good view into Navajo rug/blanket making.
